In an interview with Piers Morgan on TalkTV published on Sunday, Ronaldo was asked if United’s hierarchy was trying to push him out of the club.

“Yes, not only the coach (ten Haigs), boda8 but two or three others around the club. I feel betrayed,” he said.

“Yeah, I feel betrayed, I feel like some people don’t want me here, not just this year, last year as well.”

Last month, Ten Haag said Ronaldo refused to come on as a substitute against Tottenham as the striker walked down a tunnel with minutes left on the bench.

Then he’s out of the squad that faces Chelsea boda8 malaysia next Saturday.

Ronaldo said United did not support him when his daughter was taken to hospital in July. He said the club were suspicious of him and showed a lack of empathy when he didn’t arrive on time for pre-season training.

“I think the fans should know the truth,” he said.

“I want to do my best for the club. That’s why I came to Manchester United. But you have something inside that doesn’t help (we) get to the top level, like Manchester City, Liverpool, or even now Arsenal… in me It seems that a club of this size should be the top of the tree, but unfortunately, they are not.”

Ronaldo’s first spell came under former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, who retired in 2013. The Portuguese says he feels the same about the club as Ferguson.

“There’s zero progress. I’ve seen nothing at the club since Sir Alex (Ferguson) left. Nothing has changed,” Ronaldo said.

“He knows better than anyone that the club is not on the path they deserve.

“He knows. Everybody knows. Those who can’t see… that’s because they don’t want to see, they’re blind.”

Ronaldo also criticised the club’s decision to replace the Portuguese’s former team-mate Solskjaer with Ralph Rangnick last season.

Rangnick has resigned as head of sport and development at Russia’s Lokomotiv Moscow to take over at Old Trafford.

“After the club sacked Ole, they brought in Ralph Rangnick, the sporting director, which nobody understands,” Ronaldo said.

“This guy, he’s not even a coach. A big club like Manchester United brought in a sporting director and it surprised not only me but the whole world.”
