September 23, 2022 (Jack87 News) – asianbookie Kawhi Leonard is idle from NBA games for almost 500 days now. With the start of the upcoming season, it appears he is just on the right timing for the schedule of his comeback on the court. The Clippers president Lawrence Frank told the reporters last Thursday that the claw has been cleared to participate in five-on-five drills as soon as the training camp begins next week.

It is of course, justifiable to be cautious, considering a safer approach in easing Kawhi back in the fold. bk8 Frank says in an interview that “he feels great,”. “His plan is, look, he wants to participate in everything. And I think organizationally, we’re going to be cautious. So it will be a step-by-step approach.”

During the 2021 playoffs, Leonard partially tore his ACL missing the rest of the postseason. While recuperating after he underwent surgery, he failed to participate in the entire 2021–22 regular season. Los Angeles finished this past season 42–40 and missed the playoffs as a result. Not only Kawhi was unhealthy in the past, but also Paul George who only played in 31 games last year due to injury as well.

There is no question that Leonard is viewed as one of the best players in NBA when he is healthy. Remember how he lifted the Raptors in 2019 both offensively and defensively? Records don’t lie that he’s a two-time Defensive Player of the Year asianbookie bk8, a five-time All-Star and a two-time Finals MVP. With both he and George returning to the Clippers lineup plus the addition of John Wall, they should be a force in the Western Conference yet again. They can even be regarded as one of the early title favorites. So, the goal now is to have Leonard at full strength before the start of the fight.
