After 13 seasons in the league, he led the Boston Celtics to 12 NBA Finals and won 11 championships, asianbookie including eight in a row. The NBA Finals MVP is named after him, and he is the one who delivers the trophy on most occasions.
Russell was a five-time NBA MVP, a four-time rebounder, a 12-time All-Star, a three-time All-NBA first team member, and an eight-time second-team member. Immediately after earning honors in the 1968-69 season, he was named to the All-Defensive First Team bk8.

The NBA didn’t start counting blocks until the 1973-74 season. The Defensive Player of the Year (DPOY) bk8 malaysia award was not awarded until the 1982-83 season. If Russell was in these two eras, he would have been a block leader and a DPOY many times over.
